Stone Roses' John Squire to launch new art exhibition

Former Stone Roses guitar player John Squire is to present a new nontextual matter and interracial media exhibition at SW1 Gallery in London this October.

'Noise' runs from October 10 until November 2, and features a selection of new works from Squire.


In preparedness for the exhibition, Squire revealed that he gained inspiration by covertly recording the conversations of strangers in and around his native Manchester.


From the recordings, he took the most piquant quotes and used them in his canvas-based works.


In 2007, Squire announced to the Manchester Evening News. that he had disposed up music for right in order to pore on his art,


"Music has been assign to one side for good," explained Squire, wHO first exhibited his artwork designing The Stone Roses' album sleeves. "I'm enjoying this [artistic creation] far also much to go back to music."

More so than You Am I, Australia's Even is a band shamelessly influenced and emulating the classic pop/rock of the '60s and '70s. Even's leader, isaac M. Singer and guitar player Ashley Naylor lives for playing and creating music and most of the meter will be ground acting with more than matchless roleplay at a time, leading his have chemical group and playing sideman for others.


At 17, Naylor fronted the Swarm just soon gave up that group's indie leanings (R.E.M., Smiths) for the classic pop that inspires him. Even was formed in March 1994 with fellow ex-Swarm Matthew Cotter, and it was completed by bass player Wally Kempton, moonlighting from his duties with Melbourne-based force pop exponents the Meanies. A yr by and by, Naylor was also reconciliation his duties betwixt 2 bands, leading Even and playing guitar in Fragment, a chemical group fronted by Naylor's songwriting friend Danny Vertessy. Amanda Peet has landed the female lead in Roland Emmerich's epic disaster project '2012'.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the 'Syriana' star is joining an ensemble cast led by John Cusack that also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton and Danny Glover.
The film revolves around a global cataclysm and the heroic struggle of the survivors.
Peet will play Cusack's ex-wife, newly married to a wealthy man.
Cusack plays a divorced father, who by day works as a limo driver while trying to launch a writing career by night.
If the threatened American actors strike doesn't go ahead, shooting on the film will begin in July and the release date is set for next year.
